Before you book your Rescue Diver course, here are the answers to the most common questions.
Not necessarily.
To earn the PADI Rescue Diver certification, you need to be at least a PADI Adventure Diver and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive, or hold a qualifying higher certification.
Yes.
You need current CPR and First Aid training completed within the previous 24 months before you can become certified as a Rescue Diver.
You can complete the PADI Emergency First Response course to update your CPR and First Aid training. We can help you arrange this around your Rescue Diver course.
Rescue Diver is more challenging than your previous recreational courses, but the training is progressive and supportive.
You’ll practice each skill before bringing everything together in realistic rescue scenarios.
Yes.
PADI Rescue Diver is available through eLearning, so you can complete the knowledge-development portion online before you arrive and spend more of your time here on practical training.
